(Tallahassee, Fla.)— Floridians for Fair Business Practices (FFBP) today welcomed Whole Foods Market to the Florida-based coalition. The company joins coalition members, the Big Bend Minority Chamber of Commerce, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, Target, and Walmart, and coalition supporters, Americans for Tax Reform, Americans for Prosperity Florida, and R Street Institute, in support of repealing Florida’s Prohibition-era alcohol separation law.

Florida Rep. Carlos Trujillo (R-Miami) and Sen. Lizbeth Benacquisto (R-Ft. Myers) filed House Bill 245 and Senate Bill 420 respectively. The legislation promotes retail competitiveness by repealing the alcohol separation law and is supported by the FFBP coalition.
